Work with local restaurants and fast-food locations to organize fundraising days/nights for McAuliffe.

The Community Connections Chair manages MCA's passive fundraising programs including Corporate Matching, Amazon affiliates, Ralphs Community Rewards, and Minted. This role keeps families enrolled, engaged, and informed so our school earns every dollar possible — just through everyday shopping! We’re looking for a chairperson to help organize, track, and promote these events through flyers, Eagle Eye, and social media.

Lead the charge in spreading school spirit! These roles involve organizing and promoting our school spirit wear — from managing orders and inventory to coordinating sales at events. A great fit for someone who enjoys light retail, design, or just showing off that Eagle pride!

The Food Fundraising Chair coordinates food vendor visits on campus to create fun, community-building experiences while generating funds for the PTA. This role involves researching and reaching out to local food vendors, scheduling and organizing their visits, securing giveback agreements, and coordinating food sales on campus during select school events. A great fit for someone who loves connecting with local businesses and making events a little more exciting!

The Sponsorship Chair is responsible for identifying and securing corporate and local business sponsors who make a monetary contribution to the McAuliffe PTA in exchange for recognition throughout the school year. This role involves reaching out to potential sponsors, presenting sponsorship opportunities, and ensuring sponsors receive the visibility and appreciation they were promised.

The Membership Chair is responsible for driving PTA membership sales throughout the school year. This role works closely with McAuliffe staff to set membership goals, create excitement around hitting those targets, and find creative ways to get families signed up and engaged. A great fit for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, and loves a good goal to chase!

The Field Day Chair plans and coordinates McAuliffe's end of year Field Day celebration during the last week of school — one of the most exciting days of the year! This role is responsible for organizing games, activities, photo booths, treats, and any additional entertainment that makes the day memorable for every student. A great fit for someone energetic, creative, and loves sending students off into summer with a bang!

Plan and coordinate McAuliffe’s beginning-of-the-school-year celebration, including a movie night.

Oversees the school's participation in the National PTA Reflections arts program. Responsibilities include promoting the program to students and families, coordinating submission deadlines, recruiting judges, collecting and reviewing entries across six art categories (Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, and Film Production), and forwarding selected works to the council/district level for further judging.

Handles everything from procurement to fulfillment for McAuliffe's annual silent auction. This includes reaching out to local businesses and community members to secure donations, organizing items for the event, and coordinating distribution to winning bidders after the auction closes. A great fit for someone organized who loves making a big impact!

The Communications Secretary manages the PTA's Instagram and website, keeping families informed and engaged throughout the school year. This role creates graphics, crafts posts, and coordinates with fellow chairs to promote events, share updates, and highlight everything happening across the McAuliffe community — ensuring our digital presence is always current, welcoming, and on brand.

The Student of the Month Chair works alongside the front office to celebrate outstanding students each month. This role involves collecting the monthly recipient list from the front office, then visiting the school with a guest of your choosing to personally hand out candy, other SOTM swag and recognition to each honoree. A simple, rewarding, and meaningful way to make students feel seen and celebrated!

The Volunteer Coordinator works with the PTA and McAuliffe staff to identify, recruit, and organize volunteers ahead of events. This role uses platforms like Sign Up Genius or Cheddar Up to manage sign-ups and keep everything running smoothly. A great fit for someone who loves keeping people and plans organized!

The Leadership Liaison Chair partners with PTA, ASB and Link Crew to provide hands-on support during school hours. From supporting events to tackling behind-the-scenes tasks, this role is focused on two things: lightening the load for teachers and keeping costs low by getting the work done.
